Founded in 2001 by audiophile Oz Kol, Ultimus Audio provided consulting services for audiophiles and distributed high quality audio products for discerning music lovers.

After years of disappointment and despair from the sound of commercially available loudspeakers, we started with intensive research to discover the reasons why the so-called "High End" systems sounded 1,000 miles away from the sound of real musical instruments, even from an inexpensive acoustic guitar and bass guitar...

 As a result of our analyses of the shortfalls of existing loudspeakers, our mission is to create the best loudspeakers without compromise, in order to achieve realistic recreation of recorded musical performances.  The Ultimus Audio "Ovation" standmount loudspeaker is the result of intensive design and prototyping, and is now available for the enjoyment of audiophiles worldwide.   The combined efforts of the Ultimus Audio team, comprised of highly motivated and skilled Israeli artisans, has produced the best loudspeaker possible using the latest techniques and materials, in order to provide the full sensation of real instruments and voice.
